Andrea Schmidt is an agrarian at heart, Messianic by faith, who still enjoys sloshing in mud puddles and playing in the rain. She completed a portion of her formal education through Vintage Remedies, via the Advanced Herbal Medicine course. Currently, she is saving her dimes to continue her education. Until then she endeavors to cherish life's moments, collect hope, take snapshots of the small things, and share about biblical health. She must also confess her love for chickens. And. Coffee. Chris is a teacher, an author, and an herbalist with 30+ years’ experience growing herbs and formulating herbal remedies and skin care products. Chris completed the Intermediate Herbal Course with The Herbal Academy in 2015 and is currently enrolled in the Making Herbal Medicine Course with Chestnut School of Herbs. The desire to bring the hopeful message of the Biblical promise of herbs for the “healing of the nations” informs her work. Chris began blogging in 2007 at Joybilee Farm. Cyndi is a holistic herbalist with training in clinical and master herbalism. She tends to practice in the ancient traditional (folksy) methods with knowledge and resources in evidence based ways. Studying never ends as she feels learning about herbs is a lifelong journey. Cyndi feels God led her to herbalism and God provides herbs to use and heal with. Deb is a wife, mother of four grown children, who loves the Lord. Deb has a degree in zoology and a teaching certificate for 7th to 9th grade. Her children were homeschooled through ninth grade. She has also taught science and math in a private school. She lives in Gig Harbor WA on 5 acres where she gardens, and has an orchard. Bible study, gardening, learning about and using medicinal herbs and essential oils are some of her many interests.
Jasmine Lucero is a clinical herbalist who has loves getting her hands in the dirt and smelling the roses. She has been studying herbal medicine for over 10 years, both as an independent learner and through various schools of herbal medicine including Aviva Romm’s Herbal Medicine for Women program and Thomas Easley’s Eclectic School of Herbal Medicine. She has a great desire to share her herbal knowledge with others on her blog.
Jill Tetherow is a Certified Women’s Herbal Educator. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s Degree in Child, Youth, and Family Studies. She is well versed in youth development, prevention practices, and holistic living. She has recently merged her passions for herbal medicine, prevention, and youth work in a project called The Becoming Effect. Her journey through food intolerance and chronic illness has led to her focus on guiding girls through adolescence – the natural way.
Karri Waller is a Clinical Master Herbalist. She practices a unique blend of traditional herbalism balanced with evidence based medicine. She desires to bring wellness to as many as possible, entirely for the glory of God, the Creator and Sustainer of all life. Kim Wolf is a long-time blogger at Marmee's Pantry, writer, Health and Beauty Buyer at a Health Food Store in Dayton, Ohio and a long-practicing herbalist. Kim's love and interest in herbs began as a child as the side of her grandmother and were passed down to her daughters as a part of their homeschool studies. Kim homeschooled for 16 years, is a national speaker on homeschooling, frugal living and home remedies.
Nicole is a Christian Herbalist and is a proud wife and stay-at-home mother to two young boys. She completed her Clinical Master Herbalist Certificate via Vintage Remedies. Nicole has also studied aromatherapy with Vintage Remedies and Aromahead. She thoroughly enjoys making natural remedies for friends and family and doing just about anything creative. Rehne’s passion for herbal and essential oil remedies began over 10 years ago after being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. As a former medical auditor/instructor, her knowledge of anatomy, physiology and the circulatory system gave her the insight on how Essential oils work. Rehne strives to learn everything she can about the link between essential oils and the effects on the body. When the funds were saved, she completed school at Aromahead Institute for Certified Aromatherapist. Her passion for essential oil safety has led to multiple articles on the safe use of essential oils on her blog, Facebook group and magazine articles.
Rosanna’s interest in herbs grew out of her family’s herb shop and nursery King’s Herb Nook of Honey Brook. After learning to grow hundreds of herbs from seed she wanted to learn to use them to help people be healthy. Rosanna has studied herbal medicine for more than 10 years from multiple herbal teachers including Dr. Christopher, David Winston, and Aviva Romm. She is currently studying integrative human biology at Bastyr University. It is a delight for her to show you how to make herbal medicine with the plants God has given us for nourishment and wellness.
Sam Steffens lives with her husband and two children on their family farm in Southwestern Virginia. She began her first apprenticeship 15 years ago with a granny Midwife and Traditional Appalachian herbalist. She is now trained in Nutritional Therapy; as a DEM, EMT, MH and MA. Her herbal company, Mountain Song Herbals also serves as a non-profit community health and wellness education center. Sam believes true health and wellness begins by cultivating knowledge which lies deep within the spirit of all individuals.
Sara Davis is a farm wife, homeschooling mom, and owner-operator of OL' Farmhouse Products. She has been studying herbs since 2005 and she completed the Intermediate Herbal Course via Herbal Academy of New England. Sara has a passion for educating Christians in the use of herbs for health. She has taught children since 1996, through homeschooling her own children and teaching other children in various settings. In 2009, Sara and her husband established their online business and in July of 2015 they established a home based herb shop Ol’ Farmhouse Products.
Sheila Head has taught in public and private schools for over 30 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and has passed the TEXES test in Health Education. Due to family illnesses, she has spent the past 10 years researching the role of nutrition in digestive diseases. Sheila is a daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who lives in lovely rural Eastern Texas. Sheila Head offers an editing and proofreading service to other writers and speakers.
Sherri’s time with her grandma sparked a lifetime love of God and herbs. She has used herbs with family and friends all her life and as a Registered Respiratory Therapist she enjoys working with clients who have breathing issues. She holds a Master Herbalist and Community Educator certificate from Vintage Remedies. She is currently working on clinical herbalism courses through NAIMH and mentoring with a registered clinical herbalist to apply for registry with the AHG.

She has lectured for schools, a multitude of community groups, and is a sought after speaker for many notable events including the International Herbal Association. She launched Edible Wild Food in August 2011 and helps to educate people about God’s abundance of free food. Karen is also the communications specialist for the North American Native Plant Society.
